The story behind the whole Pain Remains Album sort of summerized Welcome Back, O' Sleeping Dreamer - The main character start lucid dreaming, a familiar yet not familiar place. Into The Earth - The main character realised he's lucid dreaming, instead of waking up like almost everyone, he stayed in the dream and controlled his dream world. Sun Eater - Become the god of your dream, become the omnipotent. "I am the one. Icarus, i'll touch the sun, Icarus, i'll eat the sun!" Cursed To Die - The main character created people in his own image to fill the void and his loneliness. He asked himself "Am i fulfilled?" as he learned reality is what he wills now. Souless Existence - He have done everything yet where is his hapiness? Having everything, yet feels nothing. Losing purpose, he himself is lost in the endless purgatory he created. Wrath - This song is suppose to be before Apotheosis story wise but it is put after Apotheosis for the song to flow better sonically. It's about being pissed wanting to destroy everything. Apotheosis - He saw something in a distance, he saw a light, he saw hope. He thought to himself "Everything is going to be fine." For the Pain Remains Trilogy, it's confusing to explain it as it can be understood differently from different points of view. I understand it but can't explain it so i'll just put what i've thought story-wise, or google it yourself. some i took directly from other source as their explanation is better. Dancing Like Flames - He was with his hope, his light, his love. But because it's a dream and you can't make out her face and the love they had makes sense yet it's not real. This a just a dream and to him, she's gone, yet he can't let go, he can't find solace. After All I've Done, I'll Disappear - He’s beginning to realise that, after everything, he’s at the end of this whole world he made. It’s all a ghost in the breeze, like fading memories. He wants to disappear, to escape from this dreamworld. In A Sea Of Fire - He's done, this is the end, the sadness and boredom is just making the void bigger and nothing he have done brought him any purpose. He's ready leave this dream world and go back to reality, time to burn this whole world down, time to wake up.

Totally not me a year ago, choking up for 6 minutes, crying, and then being so confused as to the video just ending... then totally not me again 2 weeks later crying for 5 minutes.... and then 2 weeks again later totally not me crying for 20 minutes watching the entire thing. The album released after a long string of deaths of family and close friends... and these songs just completely destroy me. The dude looks how I felt, and it felt all too real for me lol. And I totally didn't cry when I saw them live in august and they finished with the trilogy. Probably the only one that was XD This is the most beautiful string (no pun intended) of songs since Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata... and the pre-breakdown/breakdown in sea of fire... Just chills. Chills for days. It truly feels like walking the plank -so to speak- into just dread and despair. The concept of my partner dying, and me having to walk into my newly empty house... I can *listen* to this song usually with no trouble, if I'm just singing along to it. I will not finish the video dry. "a world without you isn't meant for me" makes it start, and the waterworks just don't shut after you see the "I love you" just straight rips my heart clean out my chest. I'm not good with "goodbyes" lol Also, I absolutely cannot listen to one of these, without listening to all of them. The only way to experience it is all at once. Not listening to them all at once just emotionally confused me when they released XD

One of my favorite observations besides the videos going from rain --> snow --> fire, really representing grief, depression, and anger... But in the third video, once he goes up in flames... there's no more pain, only the reunion between the man and his wife, and the house burning down. Kind of sad but represents dying of a broken heart.

Oh yeah. This is one of the most recent songs by Lorna Shore. That man acting as guy who lost his reason to live. Sheesh. He needs to act in big films. Also in their album it runs exactly the same. All 3 parts without a silence or cap in music. Haven't had that kind of love where i seriously would not know why i exist if she would lose her life for any reason. Those almost whispered parts were so nice too. I finally see that the world without you isn't meant for me. Ooof. That's a deep line there.

Will has written the lyrics for the albums he's on (the And I Return to Nothingness EP and Pain Remains.) The Pain Remains Album came out October 14, 2022. The three videos came out separately towards the end of 2022. I want to say Part 1 came out September 12, 2022, Part 2 came out September 26 and the last part came out October 14, 2022 the same day the album came out. So originally there was a lot more time in between songs. I love the trilogy but have to be in the right mindset because it makes me cry every time. As I said before Will is only on the And I Return to Nothingness EP and this album so there are only certain music videos he is in. From the EP he is in To the Hellfire and the title track for the EP and from the Pain Remains album he is in Cursed to Die, Sun//Eater and Into the Earth and also the trilogy videos. Will has one take performance videos for all the songs off the EP on his personal KZbin (the same place as his Sleep Token covers) and a one take performance video of an older song called Immortal that was originally done by the singer before him. His one take performance videos for Sun//Eater, Cursed to Die and Into the Earth are on the Lorna Shore KZbin.

Awesome 🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻 So much emotion in this one 😢😢😢🔥🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻 Sun//Eater would be be a good next one or maybe Immortal (Will Ramos one take) song or Will doing Sleep Token's Chokehold (Will is the lead singer for Lorna Shore. At some point check out the video that Elizabeth from The Charasmatic Voice did with Will Ramos, where they put a camera down his throat to see what was happening when he sang. It's about an hour long so get yourself a drink and snacks. Well worth it 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
If I remember correctly the three songs are about the stages of losing someone

The story portrayed in the video, and the emotion conveyed by the lyrics touches the feelings of loss, grief and hopelessness with loss. Whether a partner walked out on you from a break up/divorce, or was lost to sickness, or taken from you in an act of violence/tragedy, it portrays these emotions in a very beautiful way; one that I hope brings more people together and helps them heal.

The only problem with this trilogy is that I just can't watch the videos very often, or even hear the songs, because it's so deeply sad and powerful story. But do have tickets for Lorna's Pain Remains tour concert in November here in Helsinki. I can cry together with the other metalheads there then.

It’s just a story about love, loss and moving on or how he couldn’t move on. The way it’s perceived in the video and through lyrics is quite touching IMO
