Cho Ren Sha 68K - Normal 2ALL

Done on the original version, the Sharp X68000 version was released some time ago and it needs an emulator to run it. It does have some changes from the original, mostly visuals, but gameplay remains the same. And the replay (This game has replays that will be present on the attract mode of the game. But only applies on the latest highest scoring run. You can force to save a replay of your last game by entering the Kakusi Menu located on the config and holding up for 4 seconds and selecting "SAVE DEMO.REP". It will overwrite the DEMO.REP replay but you can prevent it for being overwritten by replacing the name of the DEMO.REP) is pretty old and before the x68000 version release.
Anyways, here's Cho-ren-sha 68K, a doujin shmup game by Koichi Yoshida. It's one of the more popular doujin shmups, it had served various inspirations to other shmups like Zeroranger. The game is released both in Sharp X68000 originally and later on Windows.
Game's mechanics is just shoot and bomb (although shooting continuously still requires you to mash the shoot button). Resource triangles are gained by killing a certain enemy. You get one if you pick one from the triangle, or three of them if you stay inside the triangle for a bit.
- Power, increases your power level of your shot, note that dying will reset your power to 1
- Bomb, increases bomb, up to 5
- Shield, gives you a shield that resists you for one hit.
- 1UP, gives an extra life, replaces the shield item each 1 Million points gain.
When you get items at max capacity, you will receive score from getting the item again, and increases each time you get one (100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200, 6400, 12800, 25600 for the bonus scores), however the item bonus will reset if you miss. Which means on max bonus to all three items, as long as you successfully spin the item triangles, will give you 76,800 each time its pulled off.
End stage Bonus are as follows:
Bomber Bonus: 20,000 x Bombs in stock
Shield Bonus: 50,000 if you have a shield at the end of the stage.
Zanki Bonus: 50,000 x Lives in stock
The 2nd loop will automatically activate at the end of stage 0, and a tlb will appear after the 2nd loop stage 0. It will just add revenge bullets to every enemy and boss. (There is a hard mode which has the same stages and bosses, only the revenge bullets stuff, loop 1 has lines of bullets when you kill enemies but I haven't checked loop 2 hard to know what it looks like.)
I also featured the SHOW TIME stage you can activate by going in the Kakusi menu (the full details of what the Kakusi settings does are located here: shmups.wiki/library/Cho_Ren_S...) and setting the STAGE setting to F and press continue at the main menu. Its just a boss rush containing 3 bosses and you dont get resources anywhere in the run. Killing the 3 bosses will just loop but it will count as a clear when you die after beating one loop.
I ran this on dxwnd to change the resolution so I guess you'll need it if you want to.
