For a simple sponge cake here is the description
Equipments required
Idli cooker or cooker
Small stand to keep inside the cooker
A cake tin or any vessal
Bowls 2
Beater preferrably electric
Ingredients
Cake premix, any brand, out of any variety. Here we have used Chocolate premix. We need not trouble to use maida, baking soda and baking powder in specific proportions. All is mixed already in the mix.
360 gms of chocolate premix is used here available online and also in all cake essentials shops
Any odourless oil , any sunflower oil will do of about 3 tbsps
water as required
Only 3 items for making cake
For decoration
Whipping cream (i have used liquid cream, instead of powder cream that is also available in the market) about 125ml
Edible decorative pieces.
