am I the only one who thinks that reacting to split/second animations is impossible?? these guys talk about it as if it was everyday sh*t

The logical part of my brain tells me that it's impossible, yet I see people doing it when I'm playing against them during multi-player online. I also experienced it 25 years ago in person when playing Street Fighter II against a friend. I don't get it.. maybe there's a small demographic who've just "got it", and it does feel like "everyday sh*t" for them?
