I love the movie and the novel. My favorite element is the way magic is subtly and naturally interwoven into the story, not as something strange and exceptional but just as a normal and generally positive aspect of everyday life. Particularly in the novel, Pantoufle is a real entity who plays a major role in Anouk's life and who Vienne also can physically see. This allows readers to infer the symbolic interpretations that you discuss in this video and also forces us to accept the reality of magical, unseen elements of being as both psychologically significant and undeniably real even when we choose to pretend they are not.

Johnny is just so handsome in this photo I don't know if it's the makeup on his face or the work is the way is hair is fixed or if he just speaks so friendly anyway anytime they're showing pictures of Johnny I can definitely know when the photos from chocolate. You've done well and making this film to make him look so well.

What stuck with me since I first watched this movie was seeing women supporting women while playing with the triple goddess trope, Josephine as the maiden, Vienne as the mother and Armonde as the crown Good analysis!

It's meh. Not a bad movie by any means, but not particularly good, nor does it do anything that I haven't already seen in other films(Pleasantville) that came before it. Never read the novel, so perhaps it didn't adapt very well into film A bit overrated, in my opinion. 5/10
