Being a D.C. native up until 2006. This hurts to watch your city turn into a rich paradise . They raised our taxes on our homes which caused us to move to pg county. Our music our parades our markets just overall dc culture is nomore .

I've seen this exact development out-sizing occurring in Washington DC, also germinating into other states... States such as Detroit, Harlem, New York, Newark New Jersey, and Flint Michigan... I've always felt as if , Urban neighborhood communities, were indeed Aboriginal Reservations... What is occurring today in 2018, is no different than The Gold Lottery of 1830 in Georgia... During the Gold Lottery, The Georgia Government gave away free land to wealthy Europeans for the purpose of promoting slavery... History has a way of repeating itself...

This is happening on North Tulsa was only black people and business now more gentrification. Smh. This is messed up
