I was wondering that. From design to coding the machine to development, this seems like a multi week project

​@poppasheep Probably not as much as you think. The client would have provided the designs(even if they didn't, the iffel tower is one of the most common 3d models,it took maybe 5 minutes to find a decent model of it). Most of the time has to be heating edges and waiting for it to cool. I would think maybe ~20 man-hours with at least 24hrs of CNC machining.

Also probably a paid contract for promotion with the Olympics, I don't think he did this for fun. And a 1-minute short makes sense when it contains the parts 90% of people want to watch, and only takes 1-2 hours to edit (he used lots of effects, but could have gone shorter) instead of 5-6 or more for a full-length video.
