Chocolate Factory Solo Automa Playthrough

Thanks for creating creating these automas. By the way what logic or how do you create these. I'm very interested in learning this craft. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks once again.

You’re welcome! I hope people like the end result of them. Your question is tough as there are a lot of parts but to start I would say to start with a smaller game. My first Automa was for Sunset Over Water. What I normally do is to start with saying what actions do I need a deck of cards to imitate so that the player feels like they are playing against someone. After that I go to BGG and the stats page of the game and look at played gamed and log the scores for about 400 of them. I then average those scores into three buckets to get a good sense of what the difficulties should be. From there I have my base point. I need the automa to do these actions with this deck of cards and I need it to be able to generate X amount of points.

@Dr. D that is true. Maybe I could play with that mechanism in a future Automa where the card played before this one combines and creates actions for the automa based off of the two cards played.
