Chocolate Kraken!

A look back at one of my oldest projects, the chocolate kraken. This one was actually a re-creation of the very first chocolate showpiece I ever created. When I was 16 years old. What do you guys think?

I would love to see a chocolate/dessert tea party! With the cups and tea pot filled with the cakes and such that you make. Maybe even Alice in Wonderland themed, with a chocolate top hat, rabbit, etc? If you wanted more of a challenge, do the Mad Hatter pouring tea (with chocolate "tea" coming out of the teapot into a cup) at a tea party scene, complete with chocolate table and tablecloth? I would also love to see you do a whole working model of the solar system (like the arms holding the planets can move around the sun) out of chocolate! I LOVED the Saturn you did a while ago and would be so excited to see a whole solar system! I also know you've done quite a few dragons, but what about a dragon assaulting a castle, and knights on the castle walls fighting back? Have you ever considered doing a ballerina? I had no idea you were just 16 when you made your first showpiece! Your talent is mind-blowing! I can't wait to see what you'll make next!

Always great to see your large sculptures. I'm curious to see how delicate and small you could go. Maybe a flower garden with the emphasis on insects. Maybe an ant hill.

I'd adore seeing more fantasy based designs. Edible realism is great, but chocolate fantasy is better. Even a redesign/remake of this Kraken, or any other old projects you feel could be done better now, would be fun to see. Like a before and after of how much you've improved over the years. It would provide great inspiration to beginners who don't feel they can measure up to see that even Masters of their Crafts continue to practice and better their techniques.
