"I could see his smile!" See, that's one thing I love about this show. In Season 1, when Kevin said Holt was the funniest person he'd ever met, we all laughed (and the squad was confused). But after getting to know him, even after just one full season like you, you're like, "This man is a riot." 😄 He hasn't changed (maybe a bit more relaxed with the squad), we just understand him better.

Kyra Sedgwick is so great as a guest star, and the dynamic with Holt is fantastic. The series has so many fun recurring characters, like Wunch, The Vulture, and Doug Judy. Even Hitchcock and Scully kind of started like that.

In case you weren't familiar with her, she has been a movie actress since the 80's (notably "Singles" and "Born on the Fourth of July"), and then was the star of 7 seasons of "The Closer". She and Kevin Bacon just celebrated their 35th anniversary a few days ago.
