The 20th anniversary of Chocolate was August 2014 after spawning from Girl skateboards, who Koston was an original team member for along with Guy Mariano (who was 14 when he skated in Blind: Video Days) and they both departed Girl in 2015 (2015 is a departure from 2014) and they started a company called NUMBERS!

Being a Black kid 2001, skateboarding in LA was kind of shunned. Being introduced to Stevie and Keenan changed my life. I became even more in love with skateboarding. True story: when Keenan passed away, I wrote a letter to Girl's office in Torrance and they sent me a pack of stickers.

I literally just got my first tattoo yesterday! It's from Mike Vallely's skateboard company Street Plant. It's the shoe nailed to the skateboard. The way its described is dedication. Dedication to skateboarding. No matter what I've been through skateboarding has always given me a place to rest and to be at peace. It helps me to enjoy life.
