This legit happened to me a couple of years ago. A girl I was talking to went on a study abroad trip. She always wanted to go to Greece. I always told her don't let me stop opportunities in her life. She accepted the offer but would only be there for six months. We agreed to put things on hold in the meantime until she came back. While she was over there, we both advertised ourselves as single. Didn't get a DM from any girl. It was like I didn't exist. She comes back and we talk it out so we're together now. All is good. We take a picture and post it on social media. All of a sudden, my DM's are full of girls I haven't heard from in years who are suddenly interested in how I've been doing and if I would like to meet up with them. Never forgot that.
