CHoco's comment on why the zone was so fast and how senseless that was is spot on. Maybe PUBG 2 could have options to choose speed of zone shrinkage (fixed, random, or increasing), bombing on/off, etcetera to provide more variation and customization. Having that freedom would keep lots of people playing who might otherwise drift off I reckon.

Did I miss the episode where the 'Unknown' thing was explained? I've seen a few eps with it now but it's presumably at Chocos end as in the squad game the other day you saw player names on the other squadmembers screens.

I think it's a setting called "steamer mode", makes the game more focused on the steamer, as you don't know who anyone else is

A compensator helps with recoil. If you're firing a single shot rifle you don't need to worry about recoil. Also in let's say the semi automatic rifles, you're not firing them quick enough for it to matter. Unless you're running the mk. Which is an automatic
