You could tell he was getting annoyed at the fight. You know he thought of using the grenade long before he used it, and was holding off not wanting to waste it on a shitty player. He could have cooked it long enough to blow up when it landed at the guys feet, but wanted the box inside where he could loot safer so he used the grenade to push the guy in the building instead.

My biggest problem with getting better at this game is confirming sound. I wear headphones and I still have trouble locating footsteps when in a town or city. I can never tell where exactly someone is. Choco you need to show us how you have your sound settings

Likely default. It's just knowing what loudness = what distance, you hear a sound on the left, pivot towards it so the sound is equal volume in both ears then you know you're facing the source, then apply distance knowledge, which comes from experience.

Yep. The latest patch update has the Vector running on 9mm, with the standard magazine having 19 rounds and extended magazine having 33 rounds.
