Shotguns are pretty good in the game currently. Managed to get a few kills mid-game with the s686. Felt great. Don't get the hate for the DBS. That ending... Nice.

shotguns close range are the best guns IMO, I get one-pumped on a regular basis and I usually always get a squad wipe in apartments/the camps in sanhok with them. There's definitely times where I wish I had a shotgun instead of an AR, plus I played L4D1 for 4k+ hours using pump shotgun 90% of the time so the aim and click is very familiar.
