I've watched so many of this dudes games vs others and I swear they use some off screen locator. He and others will out of nowhere start spotting people or "hearing them" when in duos the other guy will be like I didn't hear anything.

I'd man some people just have different decibel levels and better headphones than others.ik personally when I play I end up hearing a lot more than my team seems too. I've gotten quite good at identifying where people all just off of directional sound and gamesense which is imo way more important than the ability to listen. Infact I've found that by playing the game (many different games where sound is key) I've been able to build up my gamesense and it helps me not to use sound as a crutch. However when I actually do use sound I'm able to use it to assist me. For instance if someone is shooting me from the left, I can tell they are over to my left and I can start looking in their general direction. Sometimes it's not even about hearing where the shot came from. But hearing where the shot went as well. Like if the bullet whizzes past your left hear going in front of you, you know that the enemy is behind you, and depending on how the bullet passed you, will know whether they are up or down. Say if your looking north, a bullet whizzes past your right side going upwards to your north west. You will know that the person has to be to your South East, slightly under you.

Honestly there is a lot that goes into being able to identify sound and tell where enemies are. And it takes practice and experience to get to the level these guys are at. 😅
