Programmer here: Those screens almost certainly don't have an influence on the development of hacks. The data on there is available anyway, needed for rendering and so on since it'd be too computationally expensive for the server to figure out what/who every player can see. You can kinda do it in a game like CS that has small maps with well engineered sight lines but even then it's limited (for example on dust2 you won't get data from players in the bombsites if you're at T spawn, but you'll still get data from a player hiding behind double doors).

This has happened to me as well.. I took 6 months off and when I came back, the game played completely different. I went from around 500dmg a game, to barely 300. I think it's time to stop being so aggressive. It's backfiring on me.

The thermal scope is kinda dumb. But it really doesn't have to be. -Give it the same rarity as level 3 gear. -Don't let it so accurately see through smoke (actual military grade smoke grenades contain metallic flakes that diffuse thermal signatures.) -Allow other sources of heat to be detected by the thermal scope, such as used vehicles, molotovs, and even the heat of your own weapon's barrel after firing. Stronger heat sources should mask player thermal signatures. In other words, throw a molotov near you and you will become invisible to anyone using a thermal scope. And if that's not enough, give it a battery shelf life. Every time you use it, you drain the battery. When the battery runs out, you need to replace the scope. It would last a decent amount of time, but will drain quickly if you're constantly using it to scout every hill.

I still think that for every item added there should be an anti. E.g. pan -awm. So why not make the flashbang or the molotov be the smoke grenade for the thermal. Or add a powerful torch. Same principle to current thermal bright light or strong heat masks other heat sources.

Ehh, tbh After playing with the thermal scope for a bit, I find it does have its OP moments, but it's not a one scope fits all type of deal. Sometimes I literally can't hit anything with it. You can't see your bullet travel so gauging bullet drop etc is almost impossible at long distances sometimes, with your only indicator being blood splatter if you do actually hit. But that said I have got a full solo squad wipe with it from one of the towers on that map due to the enemy team hiding in smokes out in the open at close to med range. But anything 6x scope worthy onwards, it's usually easier to just switch to a normal scope and shoot them. Absolute god tier for just scanning large open spaces/tree lines though.

All of those "downsides" are easily made irrelevant by just carrying a normal scope as well. The smoke penetration is the real issue. It breaks a major established part of the game.

PUBG was fantastic in it's early days, it was a true survival battle royal. Getting good guns was an extreme luxury or being lucky, battles with other teams was intense and it was so much more better than it is today. As of right now it is a pure arcade game and you can pretty much get the choice of any gun you want at any drop. Talk about boring.

Choco you should do the "one mag challenge" it's a challenge I made that I've been trying to complete, where you can only load you gun once, no reloading once you run out of bullets you can't use the gun anymore.
