It’s a very strange feeling. It’s not like any eggman ending. Even Sonic Adventure 2 he was deranged until the end and switches up. Here is way more understanding and basically becomes an anti-hero of sorts. Really weird. I don’t think he’ll stay a “villain” for long.

Call me a nerd, but to put it simply, update 3 was a way for the team to bring us the true ending of Sonic Frontiers. So everything that happened in the update was suppose to originally happen after finishing Rhea Island, but I’m guessing money was low and they had to work with what was left for the original ending, being a Galaga-styled fight with The End.

It’s WAY bigger than that. It’s the way for Sonic Adventure 3. The blueprint has enough good foundation to build upon. The best story and character introduction was SA2 (Shadow and Rogue). They need to make a good story and have the map collectibles mean something. Chaos drives, animals for CHAO. Bring back that damn garden!

Basically in sonic frontiers it was planned to have the 1st 4th and 5th island all together. But those basterds we call playtester's said that it would be to boring. So as a last minute decision they split all Kronos and ouranous leaving Kronos and rhea stuck together but with an invisible wall blocking your way. But in the last story cutscene on rhea you can still see ouranous still attached to Kronos.
