Hyunjin has had multiple injuries in the past including his shoulder, arm, waist and hand. He got them mainly from dancing and overwork. The company didn't even change the chores when he had a broken hand so he had to support his entire weight on that hand. You can see it in a lot of videos of 143 performances.

⁠it’s not necessarily because his old injuries are bothering him. The bandages are put very symmetrically on his arms, the injuries however are not symmetrical at all, the injury on his hand was much lower down, close to his wrist, there’s no bandage on the shoulder. The bandages are mainly on his bicep area on both arms, which might be just because he overworked his muscles a bit in the gym or dance practice, so he’s playing it safe and putting bandages on for the performance

If anyone can put the swag into salsa like a freaking Rockstar it's Hyunjin. He makes it look effortless, but he's so present and in the moment all the way through. I hope his arms are ok. It seems to be a deceptively exhausting choreography this one. They're all completely spent by the end of it. Even the Dancerachas.
