Reaper Guy goes against the Rank 1 REINHARDT Lhcloudy and Codebreaker WITH REACTIONS
This is just a video showing some Overwatch 2 Top 500 Gameplay where I play Reaper. I am currently a top 500 Reaper player in EU. So this video is just some Overwatch 2 top 500 gameplay.
In this video I went against Lhcloudy and Codebreaker and so I decided to make a reaction video out of it thanks to ‪@lhcloudy‬ allowing me to use his vod which was very kind of him. This game was really fun to play and I hope you enjoy watching both sides of the game.
Overwatch 2 Top 500 wasn't that hard to hit but I have been playing since Overwatch 1. I did start on xbox and switched to PC but altogether I have around 2300 hours and 1000 of them have been on Reaper.
Reaper is the reason why I got out of gold/plat hell as you can kinda 1vs5 with him due to his lifesteal. It does get harder obviously the higher you go up but if I can get top 500 anybody can because I'm not the greatest player ever. I legit play like a plat but what I do differently is I try to play with my tank most of the time or I do the funny and get a 5 man or die instantly.

Do you always move backwards first after a tp flank? Whenever I try to tp flank in my games I either get domed before I’m allowed to move or slept even if I try to dodge it.

@@ChoiceOW nah just tping in the backline for a flank 1v1, I stopped trying to do it cuz I’m either dead before I can move or get CC’d, like is the first movement you make after tp always a backwards movement?

I think that’s not the best question to be asking tho, since doing something like “moving backwards after every tp” leads to predictability in gameplay. and the LAST thing a Reebah needs to be is predictable. Try tp’ing when the enemy DON’T expect a flank. I know that sounds elementary but when they do or do not expect it comes with practice, gamesense and a lil bit o’ luck. usually, try flanking when enemy is 1. isolated and 2. occupied with your teammates or supporting theirs. try and find openings (dont just willy nilly FLANKING! like Choice does, cuz he has a special case of “screw you” tps which actually work)

Reaper should get a DoT effect on enemies hit in the center of his crosshair. Additionally he should gain passively increased movement speed like Genji and Tracer. This would help him to secure elims and offer some DPS utility at longer ranges, and help him perform his role more consistently without ruining his matchups. (this is from a masters Winston onetrick)
