There are 2 options about Ethan diamond scene: (i)if MC advises Ethan not to give up on Banerji, he will inform Dr.Emery, and when Ethan quits, some staff will know about his illness and try to treat him (ii) if MC advises Ethan to let go of Banerji and let him live his one month happily, no one will come to know about Banerji's illness (it will remain secret only between Ethan and MC) and Ethan will let him to leave the hospital. Though, Ethan still quits the hospital believing it was his fault not being able to cure Banerji.
