Very Interesting mechanism, but it seems overly complex and not 100% natural. Maybe you can make a vertically flying medusa. Also Why don’t you try make larger rubber band model? Larger model can be made more buoyant and are aerodynamic more efficient. Have you tried emergency blanket Mylar as wing cloth?

Thank you. I am thinking of making the wings a little bigger, but this is the first time I've heard of a blanket mylar.

You have ventured into bio-mechanics with this invention 😀. I believe it could work in the future but one of the issues may be the weight and stiffness of the covering material. It doesn't let the "fingers" freely move and the rubber engine is hard pressed to flap the wings.

I see, that may be true.I'm thinking of replacing the entire wing.I will use it as a reference.thank you
