This ability is super unreliable which makes cera much better the force sit and the grab and thrash are a lot more deadly

i agree with the ability being unreliable however siamo has better base stats in every way except siamo having a slightly higher attack cd and piss poor stamina on top of that, siamo's ability is an instantkill and gives you i-frames during it's duration, a siamo could theoretically kill a maia with the ability, while another maia tries to hit hit like a dumbass, wasting all of it's stam, before the siamo just either tries to kill the low stam maia without the minigame, or runs away a cera, would've just gotten ragdoll combo'd in that situation . . . TL:DR, cera is better single target, but can't do anything if outnumbered, and works better in packs (most of the time), while siamo is more of a solitary hunter that can occasionally even hold it's own against 2 incompetent ceras also, cera is slow as shit, like, really, horribly, slow like 2nd slowest playable in the game type slow

you say that because you only see the successfull attempts . . . . . words cannot describe how janky and inconsistent that shit is half the time it's based on luck weather or not you hit the opponent on the head with a right click and they get grabbed not to mention if you lose the minigame (or even win it) there's a HEAFTY stamina penalty, on top of siamo having the lowest stamina pool in the game also, when you're a baby, it's almost impossible to tell what you can and cannot grab, as it's not dependant on weight, it's dependant on a seemingly arbitrary "size value", meaning half the time if you aren't fg you can't grab what you're fighting in the first place, and if you are full grown then you can't grab small stuff like achillobators and gallis

practice makes perfect, the minigames in other survival games have trained my reaction time, and years of muscle memory from using WASD as movement in EVERY GAME EVER means my hand-eye coordination is on point.

if you start to see the chokeslam animation, you're fucked but you can survive it, so long as you're good enough at the minigame beforehand. . . . .

yes, it's activated with right click and it only works on "similarly sized dinos", which often feels arbitrary as to what that means, but it requires you to have at least 66% of your stamina before you can activate it, so be careful when using it!

@@Anicash99999 OMG I REALLY ASKED FOR THAT sorta like galli's ability where you can't get hit but can't attack back either but yeah, it's to prevent siamo's from wiping out entire herds, but i think the stam penalty and requiring 66% to activate it is enough already 😔

read the trello (you can find it in the game's discord) if you're too lazy to, just RMB and try to hit your targets neck can only be used on "similar sized" creatures however, and it's quite inconsistent, aswell as requiring 66% stam to activate, and it drains a bit of stam after the animation ends, so use it wisely.

@ no, it's a bite attack, same as the m1, except it costs slightly more stamina and has like triple the cooldown, if that attack connects, it grabs the opponent and initiates the minigame
