What I noticed is that in sohei mirror duels, since the opponent will almost always feint to gb after ub, just zone os and they'll bounce off and u get free gb. It's so funny bc it works more than it should lol

Personally i like the new hero ubi cooked while making Sohei they put effort so he is not a broken hero. Sohei is a big boy so him being slow with all of them weapons is valid same for shugoki. For most people the gameplay will feel boring because, slow movement + low dmg = longer fight. If ubi wants to make Sohei more flashy, I personally recommend buff his speed and slim him down a little bit add some fast moves or give him some aramusha style moves, double wielding weapons.👀✌🏻

Hey Nova, really great video man just a little tip ,when getting a light parry, you should get one of your souls or zone because you can still get executions with your zone, it does 1 more damage than the top heavy and goes directly into your finishers. PD: im not an expert with it and at the end of the day the decision is yours. Love your content keep it up!

Hey Nova I love watching your content! But uhm, stop only going for top lights on light finishers and heavy parry punishes PLEASE. There were several times where you could have gotten your last light soul but you kept going for top light instead. 13:36 being an example. Since you're learning him I think this would help. (But I am no expert). If you choose not to that's also fine.

I feel like the Sohei does not have nearly as many combos as other characters (Shaolin, Tiandi,...) His playstile feels rather repetetive and not as fun to watch ...

@@dastark_3024he is more of a “challenge based character” where the player is on disadvantage and must focus on powering up until he can achieve his win condition (which is the finishing move) So yeah , he is engaging for the player more than the watcher.

i dont know, i think he is boring (not as boring as varangian tho), just block dont parry anything execpt his dodge attacks and you are fine, getting all his souls without gb is unlikely, his only good move it the 27 zone
