@siggnolove MOGAN is a word we made up as kids for a big saltwater fish - a cross between monster and biggan. They always called big bass, LUNKERS, so we came up with our own word for salt.

I live near that area and would like to know how do you fish those eels? are there any other type of baits they eat and what time of year do the cobia come near in chokoloskee.

DOA Lures is coming out with a new snake lure and I can't wait to swim it in front of a monster cobia. Choko cobia are around in late winter and early spring months but it's tough to find them. They like to stay down on the bottom instead of the top of the water column, so it's challenging to target them.
