It"s been a while since I watched the movie, but in here's Sanjay Dutt is a notorious criminal and Madhuri is playing an undercover cop pretending to be a dancer trying to lure him in order to catch him. It was a HUGE hit from 1993 and had tons of good songs.

I've heard this song 100s of times. It's a shame you can't appreciate it in it's original language because this translation is very poor. Its also a shame that you don't know that "kook kook kook" either and so you can't appreciate the image it generates in our minds when we hear it. It's the sound that a very old school flower mill used to make in roral Pakistan and India. It's just a background noise that was always around when we were growing up. EDIT: Here i am listening to music on KZbin music and I come across this song randomly....and guess what's at the very beginning of this song???
