Well done Audiotree on the mixing. The drums sounds exceptionally profound. Every instrument can be heard clearly. Nothing was muddy. How all bands should sound in my opinion. Chon's guitar tone is unbelievably glassy, with all the gain at their disposal, they choose to ignore, sounding and playing more fluid than my morning shit. Well done

@@coca8485 I have been rabid follower of everything they've done. I believe "Pitch Dark" to be one of the finest pieces of music they have composed thus far. No band right now has me as excited for new releases as Chon. Easily one of the best musical outfits of all time. They've created one of the most unique voices for their expression that I personally have ever heard, and I pride myself on finding niche, hidden away gems.

Ive tried the Warden actually. It's a great compressor. It does however color your tone. I'm not saying that in a bad way whatsoever, but with my Victory Kraken on its cleanest setting It just doesn't play nice with my ears. I think I'm going to go for the Keeley Comp Plus.

Hes Mario and Nathan's brother. He now the official bassist for CHON he was with the band a long time ago before CHON got big/famous.

This is groove af, it's just not your groove. Personally all the changes they do make a lot of musical sense to me, it's not like they are changing the fundamental tone in crazy ways, it's just they have a unique musical language. I mean, there are bands that are very technical but have no feel to it at all, but it's not the case with Chon's latest albums
