This song, dare I say, should have a story-like music video? The vocals into lush interludes and back to chorus vocals and riffs just creates such a visual landscape in my mind of personal memories. How you see yourself change over time. You persevere through life, many events change you, for better or for worse as you gain more clarity of who you are. Ever so often in these moments of lingering memories you look back, and you instead see yourself in a different light as if you are on the other side of the one way mirror to yourself. Or maybe it's just a fucking amazing song :D

I was just nonchalantly reading through "happy birthday" messages and for some reason this song kinda made me have an extremely vivid flashback of my entire life and how I got to this point... pretty intense, and Im not even an emotional person.
