Honestly if Charles did jumpscare more often, you’re probably just going to get annoyed or bored with the jumpscares over time. For me, knowing that he’s out there gives me dread and anxiety. And I think that’s what makes encountering Charles more scarier.

Things that need to be improved imo : - Rework the mine system. It's just too short with just 1 guy guarding. - Adding some type of combat when diving into the mine. Make it more like a stealth game. - Since you're going around the island doing some quest, make Charles patrolling around the island so that you're not mindlessly riding the train without feeling the threat. - Quest overhaul. It doesn't need to be fancy but make it less repetitive and change the location of the objectives to not be around the quest npc.
