Why would you need bells with boots on frt? Aren't bell boot to protect the back of frt hooves..these boots I would think would also protect wen your riding..just a thought ..I could be wrong.

My boots are rubbing the bulbs until they bleed. I had him in 4’s- went down to 3’s because the 4’s slipped around and turned. The second time this happened I made sure I seated his hoof in the boot. There appears to be plastic or something sticking up in the boot that rubs him. What is wrong?
