Team recap and more than 6 rounds is way better than the normal 6 rounds with no team recap. Love hearing what each others plan is, I wish we could see the teambuilding which is why I love the livestreams of this.

There are a lot of good options tbh. Could have also gone Prankster, Illusion, Levitate with Tera Electric for 0 weaknesses and immunity to Thunder Wave, Battle Armor to avoid crits. This is why I love this new format. You can do tons of cool and creative stuff.

⁠​⁠@@akshayaggarwal5148not how the rules work. It's any ability of any pokemon that share any typing with it. He said at 17:50 that he got a volcanion with adaptability. Volcanion doesn't get adaptability and is the ONLY fire water type in the series, so how else would he put adaptability on it?

He wanted to run Drought Torkoal, which is why he didn't bring the Poliwrath, plus Poliwrath was weak to too many Pokemon on Dylan's team. I would even go Umbreon Levitate with Tera Electric. I think Volcarona Simple is more nasty than using Huge/Pure Power, so maybe Luke didn't want to be that sweaty.

Really love this battle format so far. It's different from the usual videos, but having something more serious contrasts nicely with the rest. The one thing I'd want with it is a short segment after the battle in which you come back in the same call to discuss things with the benefit of hindsight.

I love the new format. Increasing the rounds to more than 6 allows for more mind games in the team building, and having the breakdown for each of the 'mons and the reasoning behind them makes for great content, gives a good view into the thoughts behind the builds, and also can give people ideas on how to run their own 'mons. :D I hope we get to see more content like this from you guys!

Love this format! Kinda miss the fun banter and mind games, but I love the serious strategy talk! Unless you record voice-over together watching the battle footage and have a mix of strategy talk and joking around, but that would have the potential to make the videos too long.
