Hope you like this idea. Might be a bit complicated to execute but you should try combing your trivia videos with the pokemon select videos. You can have random video game trivia over every Pokemon. The player chooses a question (locking in that pokemon) and if they get the answer right, they get to choose any ability *OR* nerf your Pokemon in any way.

Hi Vinny! Just wanted to talk about your elbows! It just means that you have joint hypermobility! Elbow extension is ~0 but you have joint laxity allowing you to go through that range of motion!
