Was going to pull the trigger on two Soltera 2s for $999 last night, but didn't. Woke up today to a Memorial Day sale where each bike was $799. From the reviews I feel like I hit the jackpot.

What fender set for Soltera 2? On Aventon website, there is no fender set for it. Also is there any other rear rack fit to it other than the one sold on Aventon website?

The fender set on my Soltera 2 if from the original Soltera. Since I was able to get the rear rack from Aventon, I haven't had to do any research on an after market one... good luck on your search!

I have the Soltera first generation and don't feel a torque sensor accomplishes what cadence could do if it had constant wattage function as well.

It does provide a different riding experience. Some people prefer the cadence sensor over the torque.

​@@scotthardesty I have less of preference of cadence vs torque sensor, I want more customizable software options. Constant wattage/set speed, percentage/ramping of power. So many solutions that a cadence/torque sensor doesn't fix on its own.

I am looking at comparing it the Velotric T1ST. Since they are both "step thru" models.

The T1 is about 10 pounds lighter but offers an extender option that Aventon doesn't offer..

I definitely prefer a torque sensor. However due to rebates in my area and restrictions on dealers and model availability it was a choice between a 'free' original Soltera 7 or paying $600 for the Soltera 2 - so I picked the former. Still a great bike however! I like that it just feels like a regular bike that I don't get sweaty on. It's also light enough to just pedal like a regular bike if I'm in the mood.

I think they wanted me to review the original (very late) so I could compare it to this new one. Either way, both are super smooth.

The Pace is a great bike for those who don't like to ride bikes. The Soltera is good if you actually want to ride a bike but want the option to throttle every now and then. The Pace is great for elderly people, those with cardio-related health problems, or those with bad knees. The Soltera is more for people who are healthy enough to ride a regular bike but want to take it easy while riding. Not to mention the non-ebike look of the Soltera makes it less of a target for bike thieves.

@@Andorski Well said, I couldn’t agree more 👍 I love the Soltera, and that is why the majority of my videos feature that bike, it’s hard to go back to another one!
