You guys are very lucky in India because you have colleges in every corner of India. But in Sri Lanka, that is not the case. We have only two IT / Engineering Universities that are very difficult to enter and those Universities are highly recognized by Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard and MIT. If you could not enter either of these two Universities, you cannot become an IT/Engineering graduate and you have to look for an other job..

Growth doesn't come with masters, it comes with the time you spend. In India peace of paper has value but not in north america. In Western countries nobody is Sahib. Everyone is a servant working for the company with its own different roles and job duties. Rest up to you.

@@kj2554, the first reason was that I could complete my degree in 3 years instead of 4. Secondly, the weather in Canada is too cold (it can get down to -40 degrees). Thirdly, the fees in Australian Universities are lower than their Canadian counterparts.
