I know a lot of Sri Lankan students who did Masters in IT and Computer science at UFT in the 90's, UFT was not that difficult to get the admission. They are all doing well now in Canada and the US.

Shri that’s BS. for CS, Waterloo is super well known and has an amazing reputation. In Silicon Valley, UWaterloo would be more recognisable than even UofT. You’re clearly influenced by the World Rankings.

You guys are very lucky in India because you have colleges in every corner of India. But in Sri Lanka, that is not the case. We have only two IT / Engineering Universities that are very difficult to enter and those Universities are highly recognized by Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard and MIT. If you could not enter either of these two Universities, you cannot become an IT/Engineering graduate and you have to look for an other job..

this is such a special case. most of the grads from Canadian university are unemployed looking for worked. the international students get preference over local citizen students because they are more compliant.

Even if you complete 3 years of College Diploma as an International Student, you will get PR status. I know one Indian guy who studied 3 years of Diploma in Network Security at the Centennial College in Toronto, Now he is a Canadian citizen.

Growth doesn't come with masters, it comes with the time you spend. In India peace of paper has value but not in north america. In Western countries nobody is Sahib. Everyone is a servant working for the company with its own different roles and job duties. Rest up to you.
