The funny thing is I did a multiplayer campaign with some friends using that gecko model, and all of them were making jokes none stop about me traveling the galaxy to sell car insurance. They stopped joking when I out teched them all, carried their asses through the War in Heaven, and became the dominant galactic power. They existed because I tolerated them. My first order as Galactic Emperor was to make car insurance illegal.

Spirit is a philosophical term for any non material substance. Materialism is the idea that there is only material substance. So that checks out
