@@psdrp i actually moved to stem halfway through the schoolyear !! nung ict pa ko, we focused on emptech and ncii,, basically sa ncii parang nagbaklas po kami ng system unit ng computer,, nag-aral kung pano mag install ng operating system,, ganan. then gumawa naman ng website sa emptech, learned about some terms na ma eencounter mo sa internet but now asa stem na ko, since i felt like baka may mas magustuhan pa kong career na hindi about web development. i thought na i could just take compsci sa college if gusto ko talaga programming. goodluck sa kung ano mang magiging decision mo !! u can do it :D

If after Senior High School and you will pursue your studies in college, better if you take STEM and take BSIT in college. The last time I check in the curriculum of BSIT, there is Technopreneurship subject in BSIT course. This will help you to have a good foundation in putting up your own business in the field of IT.

STEM is for students na magpupursue ng studies sa college at align d2 ang computer-related courses. This will give you foundation subjects na gagamitin mo sa college specially kung ang kukunin mo ay CompSci. Sa BSCS course, you will have a lot of Mathematics at Sciences subjects na itatake mo sa STEM. Ang computer skills ay matutunan mo habang nagaaral ka na ng college kaya don’t worry. 🙂

You're in the right track. Both BSIT and BSCS ay pedeng course na makatulong sa atin para maging programmer. Pareho kasi silang may mga programming subjects. Pero kung ipagcocompare natin ang curriculum ng dalawang courses, ang BSIT focuses on application of technology while ang BSCS focuses on strong foundation based on mathematics and algorithms.

Sa pagkaalam ko po ang ICT ay para sa mga estudyanteng gusto agad mag trabaho o meron ng kaalaman para sa trabaho at sa STEM naman ay para sa mga estudyanteng may interest sa engineering gaya ng computer engineering, computer science kc halos math po yan sila e pwede naman kayo makapag IT pero halos lahat NG subject sa STEM ay hindi gaano magkapareho sa pagaaralan mo sa IT. sa ICT naman po ay nakatukoy sa teknolohiya, gaya ng programming, computer technician, Web development at marami pang iba. Kung gusto NYO po maging IT recommend ko po ICT.

Depende sa kung ano maging gusto mo career path. May mag kaiba kasi purpose sa industry ang BSIT at BSIS. I suggest tou watch our video about BSIS curriculum and BSIT curriculum to differentiate the two course. 🙂

Ang bridging program ay para sa mga naka graduate na ng grade 12 na mag cocollege to align their SHS track sa college. If mag shift ka from STEM to ICT, you just need to ask the assistance of your school principal or your adviser.
