Thank you for great lecture Regarding Chest CT with and without contrast, do you think it’s beneficial to use this protocol to differentiate between aortic intramural hematoma and thrombosed false lumen in aortic dissection?

Thanks! Yes, we'd probably do initial non contrast CT, followed by CTA of the chest/abdomen/pelvis (entire thoracoabdominal aorta through common femoral arteries). Folks will sometimes talk about MR to distinguish between slow flow in the false lumen of a dissection vs. no flow in an IMH as a troubleshooting option if CT is indeterminate for some reason, though it's been a while since we've done one of those.
