Choosing the Correct Pickleball Shoes

I personally use Merrell Moab hiking shoe for pickleball. I play pickleball 3 times a week, 3 hours each time and they give me great support to not roll my foot and hurt my ankle.

Hi, which specific Merrell moab are you using? Im interested to check that shoe as well

This advice works for most people but not all. I have strong ankles but problem knees. Court shoes are too rigid for me, my feet and knees always hurt after games. It’s like running on a brick. I’ve tried Kswiss and Asics brands. I wear Merrell trail runners ( not regular running shoes) They are more flexible but have lateral stability and keep your foot in a neutral position. I also play on the balls of my feet and find that easier in a flexible shoe.
