Many people are obsessed with freedom or the power to choose and to control their own life. After all, it's your life; shouldn't you be able to choose how you live it? Realistically there are very few things that we ca control in life. We can't control our height, our health, or what other people think about us.
Find her book on our bookstore here: bit.ly/2Kj2sBf
We can, however, choose our attitude. Deborah Pegues, author of Choose Your Attitude, Change Your Life... In 30 Days, encourages us to choose the right attitude by believing God is in control, thinking positively of others, being happy for other's good fortune, focusing on the needs of others, and more.

I didn't hear God's word, I heard you giving your opinions. Know the difference. Nice words but no Gospel!?

I love these episodes. The Lord brings me so much joy as I listen to you. I love your joyful and sober attitude. Not to mention the wise, Biblical "tips." Uh, I wish more people were like you. 💜

I LOVE what Deborah said about lifting others up with their display of insecurity or attempt to level the playing field. It is such a mature and loving response. It's so easy to write people off and react when we feel triggered in some way and cause further pain to those already hurting, as well as ourselves. I love the idea of lifting others up to their higher potential selves vs. Reacting to surface behaviors. There is always something deeper lying beneath. Thank you for this message, Deborah!!

Amen! I can't imagine caring what others think of me more than what the BEING THAT CREATED THEM does! Christians place far too much value on worldly things; it's never made sense to me, and that's as kindly as I can say it! It would be comical if it wasn't so tragic. Sandy, sandy stuff. 🤷🏻‍♀️

God is not everyone's Father. John 1 informs that as many as received him {Jesus} to them gave he power to become the children of God.
