Realistically there are very few things that we ca control in life. We can't control our height, our health, or what other people think about us.

I LOVE what Deborah said about lifting others up with their display of insecurity or attempt to level the playing field. It is such a mature and loving response. It's so easy to write people off and react when we feel triggered in some way and cause further pain to those already hurting, as well as ourselves. I love the idea of lifting others up to their higher potential selves vs. Reacting to surface behaviors. There is always something deeper lying beneath. Thank you for this message, Deborah!!
