Choosing The Right Grip For DF 2.1

I bought a LAB DF3 a few months ago and am struggling with the grip which I am just finding awkward on my small hands (I wear a small cadet glove). The DF3 is fitted with a Press Pistol 2deg grip. You seem to be suggesting you can just change the grip without doing anything to the putter. I looked into changing the grip on my putter, which wasn’t another Press Pistol grip, on my LAB and was told I would need to get the putter rebalanced at a cost of £100 plus the cost of the grip, is that correct?

Would changing the grip that comes on the putter from say a press 2 to the smaller change the overall weight? And the balance of the club?

It's such a small change that it doesn't really make a difference. We strongly recommend trying different Press Grips to find the one that works best for you. Worst case scenario... you cut it off and go back to the old one, right?

What about going from the 3 degree press to the pistol on a DF3?

Any normal grip install video will do the trick. Just make sure it's lined up straight.

is there a consideration that needs to be made for LH vs. RH when installing the press grip? seems like the 3° press would be wrong if you install a RH grip on a LH putter, or vice versa. i ask because there is no specific option to choose dexterity when ordering a new grip thanks so much!

In the past, we simply installed the RH grip upside down. But we now actual LH grips that show the graphics properly.

It's going to be a little awkward without a Press Grip. Have you tried LINK.1? Those work with standard grips.

@@labgolf I own both r now :) Just was curious if press grip was a "requirement" for this to be useful. Watching for a B2 67 degree lie on your outlet for my 3rd putter from ya'll

It's not needed on LINK.1 or the older B.1/B.2 models. We do recommend it for MEZZ.1/MEZZ.1 MAX and DF 2.1.

What is the OG grip can you still get it?

We're really digging Press Pistol 2 Degrees, but it's a very different shape. Press 1.L is the closest to Press OG.
