Thank you, and glad to hear it was helpful! Fun again to make contacts with 3 of you, and was in a bad driving spot for making the last one. (-: Welcome to the radio and SOTA hobby, and please reach out if any questions or anything I can do to help! 73

That was great James. When we first met I believe I said I had no interest in SOTA, but with all things "Ham radio", things change. As I wait for my KX2 I have time to figure all of this out. 😉

Thank you for sharing, and hope some of the SOTA intro playlist videos help...your message is a bit of encouragement to add a few more related to HF, etc. (-: You definitely chose a great radio in the KX2! It was my first HF radio, and have loved owning the last 4+ years due to quality, ability to hear, and small size when hiking. Thanks again for sharing! 73, James WA7JNJ

Thank you, and glad you found a few of the other short videos for those interested in learning about SOTA... Just in case, quick fyi there is a channel playlist with a few other short videos: one regarding SOTA Resource overview, Activating on VHF/UHF, and I still want to create few other videos as well.
