I’m also a fan of BIG cards. I much rather sit down to make an A7 (5x7) or 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 card than an A2 (5 1/2 x4 1/4) size.

I have been card making for years and I still have problems with measuring and cutting cardstock. I also make cards blanks ahead of time and it saves me time. I will be watching your videos many times. TFS.

i enjoyed this video. thank you. And there is no waste, as long as we use the materials we have. I know people like to get two cards from one 8x11 sheets of paper, but if you want a larger one, than that's great too. NO waste as it's being used and the scraps. every crafter has "scrap" peices after cutting bases or other templates. I do what brings me joy and what those enjoy, who i gift them too

You could score before cutting so you only have to score once. TFS

A friend just showed me that trick. It is so much faster since you only score once instead of twice. 😊

I have done some of this. When I don't know what to do or what to make I go thru my cardstock,stamps dies to get me motivated. Which sometimes by the time I do that,I'm in the mood to make something, but I ran out of time. I have cut front panels,cards bases but I have found myself using something different..I have to have more discipline I guess.Use what I prepared..love doing spray inks on cardstock,other techniques then can't decide which one to use.. cause what I did. And what I want to make, might not be the colors I want to do then. And I like them all.. oh boy !! Anyway, I just started to complete cards and put in container so I'll have cards done ahead of time. Slow starting. But I'm attempting to do ahead of time. This is all still new to me. I have been cutting cards and fronts for the last 4 hours, lol I love the idea of having card bases and fronts and trims ready to go I spend half my time getting supplies together and then cutting and cutting. This is will be so much easier, thank you for this and the other videos. I on the hunt now for the one where you did the sentiment sizes. love that idea also. This video is a little different but I love it that you explained it all so well.

Great video, thank you. Now I know what to do when I want to do something creative but don’t know what… I have a drawer full of envelopes, some of which don’t have card bases… cutting a bunch of card bases to fit the unusual size envelopes will make them ready to use when inspiration strikes 😊👍

Here in the UK We don't have 8 1/2 x 11 so difficult to cut to your sizes

A4 = 210mm x 297mm OR 8.27 in x 11.69 in 210/2 = 105mm OR 4.13 inches 297/2= 148.5mm OR 5.85 inches For side folding cards, cut across the 297mm side and make your CUT @148.5mm Rotate one turn and SCORE @ 105mm For top folding cards, cut across the 210mm and make your cut @ 105mm. Rotate tone turn and SCORE @ 148.5mm I hope this helps!

Hi Jenny I know you collect Gina K and I happened to have theee mi I repeated. Would you like to exchange it for another Gina K or if you don’t any Gina K duplicate for something that you have repeated. Mine are new but I don’t care if you have something used. I a, new to this and trying to build my Stacy. I made two orders close together and got the same incentive stamps twice and ordered twice the same product without realizing.
