Et je suis d'accord avec toi, si c'est pour simplement reproduire la chanson tel ça casse tout l'intérêt d'un cover parce justement c'est une interprétation personnelle à la base. Je suis complètement d'accord! Ce cover est vraiment original, il donne une autre dimension à la chanson et je l'ai beaucoup apprécié aussi, en plus la voix de Siobhan Wilson est magnifique! Mais je dois avouer que lorsque je l'ai écouté la première fois j'ai été un peu surprise, en voyant System of a Down dans le titre, je ne m'attendais pas à quelque chose de si doux, cela dit, c'est une bonne surprise! :)

Hey! Merci pour tous vos messages. Que ce soit dans le positif ou dans le négatif vous êtes toujours aussi cool :) Pour parler de cette vidéo ( ou plus largement de ma chaîne ) j'ai voulu prendre à contrepied chaque éléments fondateurs de cette chanson. ( tempo, sonorité etc...). J'aime bien les groupes qui reprennent des morceaux quasiment à l'identique de l'originale, mais ça n'est pas du tout dans l'ADN de mes projets. Je suis un énorme fan de SOAD, et de cette chanson entre autre. Je voulais qu'on re-découvre à quel point cette chanson est puissante, même quand elle est mise à nue.C'est souvent la force des grandes chansons. L'exercice était de taille ;) je passe énormément de temps sur mes vidéos pour qu'elle soit vraiment comme je les ai imaginé à la base. Celle là à pris du temps car il fallait beaucoup de "finesse" pour garder une tension pendant l'intégralité de la vidéo. Je suis très fier d'avoir collaboré avec Siobhan qui est une chanteuse incroyable. Merci à tous encore :)

Whether in the positive or the negative you are always so cool :) To talk about this video (or more broadly of my channel) I wanted to take each of the founding elements of this song. (tempo, sound etc ...). I like groups that take songs almost identical to the original, but it is not at all in the DNA of my projects. I am a huge fan of SOAD, and this song among others. I wanted us to re-discover how powerful this song is, even when it's naked. It's often the strength of big songs. The exercise was great;) I spend a lot of time on my videos to be really as I imagined them at the base. J'aime tellement quand des musiciens font des reprises aussi personnelles! C'est tellement intéressant de redécouvrir quelque chose qu'on aime. J'ai vu la vidéo le jour de sa sortie, et depuis je me la repasse toujours un peu en boucle. J'adore SOAD et notamment cette chanson, et je trouve votre reprise géniale! La première écoute était perturbante, c'est évident, mais cette reprise est tellement originale, pleine de fraicheur, le crescendo est super bien mené, la voix douce de Siobhan l'accompagne parfaitement. Bref, pour moi c'est une vraie réussite. Bravo! Et bonne continuation!

Until he gave up on SOAD and singing.
