Thank You very much for Your Chopin op.11 tutorials! I see that after common Paderewski is good idea to work (only) with Ekier edition: mainly for more exact slurs, seeing fingerings of Chopin, types of written accents there..

Hey Josh, was wondering if you could do a tutorial on Rachmaninoff's moment musicaux no. 4? I think it would be really helpful, especially discussing left hand technique & voicing :)

Hello Josh, which edition do you recommend for the score of Chopin's Concerto No. 1?

I would recommend the Ekier (Chopin National Edition) that I mention in this video. I also compare it with Paderewski as well, which for many years was the recommended edition by the Chopin Institute, before switching their recommendation to the Ekier edition.

Hello Sir, I will be grateful if you can make about choosing music colleges/universities. I am 15 and next year and next year I will be secondary 3 which I need to decide and choose subjects. I would like to go to music university in Europe but I know nothing about those schools and which subjects to choose in IGCSE. I am not from a music family either. I started learning piano at age of five with very very bad teachers. Actually they aren't teacher because I grew up in a refugees camp near the border of Myanmar and Thailand. I have never seen a real acoustic piano till age of 11 ( Finally back to city in Yangon, Myanmar). She was actually my real piano teacher but she is very old and in her times there isn't much who can play piano and didn't have internet so her teachings were mostly wrong. I don't know how I reached JohnTomson grade 5 from grade 3 in two years. By the end of 2019, I have a chance to meet with very good teacher who got master from America. She is one of the best teacher in our country, Myanmar. I had learn with her at least 5 times before ccovid 19. I have to redo all of my skills and learnt again from John Tomson grade 3 tho I am good at sight reading. I practice on a horrible upright piano. I bought it with 700$. I practice at least 2 hours a day but I usually don't want to practice because of the piano problems. Now I am stucking in John Tomson grade 3 because of Covid 19 and military coup. Untill now I haven't learn piano again. There are very few western classical music lover in my country and I want to bring them. Teaching classical music in my country, open a classical music centre. I a thinking to so home studying for my igcse ( O level) and focus the rest on practicing piano. Is it possible for me to do it? ( attending good college in Europe/ America) because I am only interested in playing classical and want to improve classical musical music in my country and doing business with it. I also want to play in orchestra one day if I can. Please advise me. I don't have lots of money. My father doesn't have a job because he a pastor who work for many churches and help the poors but he is very smart and my mom is a house wife but our families is full of God's graces and miracles. I didn't expect to join international school, didn't expect to have a real piano even tho it is really bad. I believe that I can do all things through Christ and wish I am be the grandmaster of classical music in my country and make lots of non profit foundations. Thanks
