Excellent stuff. Amazing how well it translates from the piano to Wurly. Really great playing!

I also own the CP reface; I bought in mainly for the Wurlitzer patch. I also am a big fan of nocturne pieces. All that being said this is truely fantastic!

So beautiful, man, your "slower" version of is so calming!

Ill take the whole nocturne list please. Just as gentle and slow as you did here. I love it❤

that section of the Chopin Nocturne is actually the only part that I personally feel is conducive to this kind of sound treatment and style. But don't worry, I already have another piece in mind that will go really well with this sound

I love this slow and self-assured version so much. Would you be willing to let me use it as the background music for a future video on my account? If so, I'll give full attribution and link back to you.

absolutely. i love what people are generating with AI nowadays too. would love to see the video you use it in

@@inthejunglejim Thanks for that. It may not be for another month or two, as I'll only use the music when I have an idea that I think it works well with, but I'll let you know when it happens. Keep up the good work!

Did this inspire that one song they used in Rick & Morty during the Evil Morty part? The haunting Ah Ah Aaah Aaah, Ah Ah Aah Aaah...

not familiar but i'm sure Chopin influenced a lot of music after his time

Nice. I always like the idea of the reface range, I would buy one of each if I could but they're a bit expensive now.
@inthejunglejim Жыл бұрын
so i've owned the CS, DX, and CP pretty much since January of 2021. granted i got the CS and DX brand new for $300 from Sweetwater and the CP for like $350 off of Amazon. I'll definitely get the organ one someday because I think all the refaces are really well built and designed. I'm totally in love with each. yes, they're more expensive now, but MSRP back then was $400 pre-pandemic and now $450, so an extra $50 isn't out of line with the rate at which the cost of other synths are rising. what must be considered is the fact they have the option to be battery powered from 6 AAs AND they have built-in speakers! I have maybe a dozen synths and have shopped around for dozens more, and, at this price range, I can't even name off of the top of my head another synth that has built-in speakers or an option for battery power without the need to run a USB cable (or even specialized PD cable) to a USB battery pack. so provided you pack in high capacity Eneloop batteries, it's really convenient for portable jamming in the woods, etc.

@@inthejunglejim Jamming in the woods... username checks out 😂 Yeah I totally agree they seem like great value (in The States, not so much in the UK though at the moment). I think on my next business trip to the US I'll get myself a CS. And maybe the DX. Oh and probably the CP too 😁

I imagine some kids probably practiced like this in 50s and 60s because their family didn’t have the space for a real piano.
