This is probably the best interpretation I've heard of this piece, so free, so full of passion and breathed persuasion, its own introspective interpretation of rubato, it's as if the interpreter value each note, is sad as this kind of interpretation they are not valued in the academic world!. My congratulations Vadim! it's a pleasure to hear you! Regards from Argentina.

Now we know who played that 150+ million views thumbnailed in a Van Gogh painting, this is the most beautiful Nocturne interpretation of all time, dancing of so much emotions! Can’t explain but it’s like perfection a God is playing it the fortissimos and pianissimos makes you have multiple eargasm. Can’t thank you enough on this art interpretation, they say Claire de Lune is more emotional but it’s how it is played that listening to this, I forget any other piece and just be caressed by the sounds you make. If only how you played this embodies a person, I would fall in love in a heartbeat

I got you, but there is no "This is how it's meant to be played" in music imo. Maybe this is how Chopin played it, but other interpretation aren't wrong. Actually I think it's important to play it how you want to play it. If you want to play this version, fine, copy it, but if you would love to play it more slower or faster, go for it.

So, as you said this is the "150 Milion views recording"...this is amazing...but the other video is iconic...I've heard it 10000 times, Nocturne op.9 no. 2 in my head is that video...The "buzzing" in the backgorund in the other video, has stuck to that song in my head...this video is amazing...but my favourite N. op.9 no. 2, remains the other video! Wonderful playing, man. Thank you.
@VadimChaimovich4 жыл бұрын
It's very interesting what you have written. Actually, the "buzzing" in the "iconic" video is due to the lower quality mp3 audio file used in it. This is how some absolutely untintended things can suddenly become part of the ... aesthetic impact :)

@@VadimChaimovich Yea man. You know, the buzzing in the other video start just before the song starts...so it kinda transports you immediately into the music. It tells you "the music has started". It is now part of the song, for me xD The thing about the buzzing and low quality, is also the fact that the old video is the best version of this piece I found on youtube, and the low quality and buzzing, gave it that "humbling" feeling. So it's perfect and humble at the same time. This recording here, feels "too clean", "too clear from imperfections" xD The first time I listened to this recording (it had another title, I didn't know it was the 150M views recording), I thought: "it sounds so similar to the 150M views video...but it can't be...it sounds too clean...maybe he played it in the same exact way or something". Btw, now, the one that I have stored in my hard disk, is the old buzzy recording xD If I have listened to both of them 10 years ago, I would have definitely chosed the higher quality one xD Thanks, and Peace!

Infused with a sense of unaltered ambiguity, Chopin’s music demonstrates the often remarkably divergent ways in which humans act and think..This is often done in a tragic way but his sense of irony is also touching. Perhaps it is this combination of tragedy and irony, combined with Chopin’s unwavering ability to come up with new melody lines that makes Chopin’s music elegant, yet profoundly expressive.
