I'm learning this. Is there any advice?
@icarus7211 Жыл бұрын
@@skylermccloud6230 I’d say my advice is take it slow, let your hands flow. When the piece gets a bit faster its like a reflex the hands get tight, just relax, take it slow then when you properly learn the notes correct the tempo and add a little bit of finesse to it.

Indeed a very beautiful piece ! If you're interested in learning it, you can download this video (keys and fingers positioning) and start learning by slowing down the video as you like. My tip is: don't ever rush ! Take little steps carefully and very slowly ! If you finished learning it, you can then only start to change speed as you see and can. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpi1oIGbaZiSntU

Hello Paul ! I'm really amazed by your cover of this Waltz. I'm also learning it and I can't catch up with the second theme (the fast one) even though all the time I spent on it... I think it's been over 2 or almost 3 months I'm learning it and I really can't get it without doing many mistakes... I was wondering if you had maybe, tips to master this part... (I think it's the prettiest of all the 3 themes haha) such like hand exercises, specific positions for the fingers... I'm still practicing it, I can go fast but I'm always feeling a tension when I try to accelerate the rhythm, which is kind of disappointing to me... Keep up your hard work ! I really do love your content ! ♥

Any recommendations for which sheet music with proper fingering to get for this piece? This piece is right up my alley in difficulty but struggling to find a proper sheet

I have a question, is this piece difficult to play ? I can play pieces like Fur Elise and I don't know if this one is too hard for me.
@johnc52825 жыл бұрын
This piece is very difficult compared to Fur Elise. You could always try it but I'd recommend playing easier pieces before playing this waltz.
@rousl70525 жыл бұрын
@@johnc5282 thanks for the answer ! and what piece can you advise me ?
@hh79355 жыл бұрын
I DO NOT advise learning this piece. I’m only 14, but I regularly play the piano and though I have played countless pieces, I find that this piece is very difficult technically. The speed and notes will be easy to read and will take you around a week to learn, but the sound that you want to achieve is difficult. The contrast between *_pp_* during the start of the piece and during the reintroduction of the same verse and the sudden *_ff_* and tempo change during the “second half” of the piece is difficult to achieve. And to get the emotions into a piece is difficult to achieve and takes a long while. Please do not discard this information just because I might seem like a 14 year old attempted smartass. I think you should play maybe 1 more piece and then return to this one. Personally, when I first learned it, I found it to be very difficult, but after a while, I became accustomed to it and really got into the mood to play it. Personally, i think that this is a great piece and that you shouldn’t let your inexperience hinder you from trying it out! I would recommend trying to learn Mozart’s Concerto 23, part 2

Juan Manuel Chazarreta Well in some cases, sometimes from personal experince, SOME FINGERING does not need to be followed if does feel uncomfortable or fingering may actually affect the hand and wrist movement espically sections where tempos kicks up, its very rare though, majority of time if i do change a finger positions it is only because the way of the openness of the hand and inner palm feels tighten and make the finger to be played not up to speed or strength because the discomfort.
