Just ran across this post and was really impressed with both your presentation and the overall features and apparent quality of this machine. Do you still have it, and if so, what do you think of it now 3 years later? Thanks.

Nice piece of gear there , They have some good ideas like the vfd being moved away and having the electric socket on the base. Cheers

Been interested in blacksmithing and knifemaking for a long time, been doing some work with basic handtools but would really want to get some real quality tools and grinder is on top of my list. Found this model today and its the first one ive seen thats made in europe and that is good news for me living in sweden. Think the price for this with motor and the essentials for me as a beginner is about 1500Euros and sure its still a good amount of money but that will probobly still be cheaper then buying only a frame from USA and then have to find a motor and stuff. I will surely try to save up some money or this. Great video it basicly talked me into getting this.

Very informative. Thanks. Could you specify what exactly is included and what is needed to be ordered separately. And are you still pleased with the machine ? Kind regards from Denmark.

is there an attachment for it so you can slack grind without a platen behind it?

Hello Craig, seems an absolutely awesome tool and I have a question for you: does it run in both ways or just in one direction? Thank you in advance for your time. :)

Nice! Congrats on the new machine and sponsor for the podcast! Is there any indication or marking for getting the work rest back into “standard” position? (90° perpendicular to the flat platen)

There isn’t but it is something I have spoken to them about. Wouldn’t be surprised to see this updated.

Hi Craig, What are your thoughts on the grinder resting it’s entire body on the tiny swivel at the base, I don’t see how that would be stable with a big guy like me leaning in on a heavy grind. I always assume a machine needs to be heavy and bolted to the floor. Seems chintzy.

Darryl Hebbes I didn’t show it too well but once it’s locked into position it’s solid. There are bolt heads to sit on as well as the main slackening mechanism.

Bad ass machine. You mentioned electrical can be fitted per region. Does that mean they have a version for 240v in North America? If so, will the knife talk discount only apply to the EU or for other regions as well?
