Love this stuff. I vote for more of everything. It is hard to find someone local to share their secrets like what you are doing. I understand local builders protecting their power, but it makes it hard to learn. MetalShopVlogs to the rescue!!!!!!

Hey man you and all the other comments made my day, I moved to Texas and have a limited set up till I get a shop set up and have allot of stuff stored but I may do some more videos with the equipment set up in the garage. It was a big move especially loading and hauling all the equipment with a few friends helping and a vintage fork lift lol but life is good here in Texas and I was taking a little time off to play with a 1965 VW bug I bought when we got here but itching to build another bike

Thanks Joep, I tell you moving out of the country life into a suburb is the strangest thing I have ever done haha, taking some time to adapt to this place feels like another planet but not all too bad. cool people around here. who knew a home owners association would frown on a country boy with allot of toys haha

interest is there and here...I am wanting to build my own bike and am gathering lots of information. unfortunately not much info being shared about how variety of engines and transmissions are mounted, also offset dimensions when required for wider tires, my interest is with 180mm and the 200 mm tire at rear. by the way ...great job on your videos, awesome jig and machine work. keep up the good work and thanks for sharing,

I am hoping to kick out a few more videos real soon and maybe some stuff I am doing to my VW bug but thanks again!

Thanks man I really appreciate it, getting plans is the best thing you could do to make it achievable. It is a tough thing to do so anything you can do to shave a little mental anguish off makes it a ton more fun

How do I make axle cairerrs for a bobber
@MetalShopVlogs11 жыл бұрын
I start with the plate 3/8" and cut the profile from a template I made then clean and tack weld together so I can gang mill the axle slot in both then finish machining the outside edge while they are still joined so they match for left and right. much easier to make from the hidden axle blocks which require sitting at the mill machining the left and right separately out of 2X2X4 solid blocks
