one of the most emotional backstory on my list. the saddest thing is, if other crew members in their backstories someone important to them usually dies or gone due to various factors and external parties, in chopper case he technically "killing" hiruluk himself by shorten his lifetime when chopper fed him with amiudake, i always cried when kureha told him the fact and when chopper realize what happen. hiruluk knows that and choose to blew himself to ease chopper's burden
